Ten Degrees at Market Street

Ten Degrees Restaurant & Cocktail Bar named after the famous leaning tower of Caerphilly Castle that leans at a Ten Degree angle.

Our ethos is simple, source the best local ingredients and let our team of talented chefs have the freedom to create wonderful dishes that change with the seasons.

Our identity and name was developed based on the famous tower in Caerphilly Castle which leans at 10 degrees and our designers worked with this create our logo and the name Ten Degrees was born. The Front of the building is filled with copper plating and a beautiful Copper two pence piece handmade bar, so that made an easy choice for us to be ‘The Copper Lounge’. Our Restaurant called the ‘Solars’ Restaurant was born from the Latin name Solaris, often the brightest room and Solars is the main great hall or the stately private chambers within a castle. Dining in our vaulted Ceiling restaurant which is filled with light is like looking up at the stars so we loved this name.
